Naked "Barbie" Doll - What Images are you Related To?
Maureen's post below really brings the point home how important it is to "Google" yourself to see what is being said about you in cyberspace, or in this case what images are related to your name.
I was amazed to see how many photos associated with me are from Active Rain posts where I have made comments on other's posts or from members who have commented on my posts. Active Rain is just as much a powerful presence on Google Images as it is on their web pages.
What "Google Images" are you Related To?
I am related by a comment to a naked "Barbie" Doll image on Google. And you? Google your name, then look at the link for images. What images are you related to? Anything funny? Share a link to the images related to your name... if you want (remember there are no follow tags in the comments.) Or describe a funny image that matches your name. Don't be tempted to snatch an image* that is not yours. It is probably not licensed for you to use it. You can contact the owner and get the owners permission to use the photo.
When I see Charles post "If you are squeamish about seeing Barbie naked----skip right on by to the next post!" I think about a Barbie Doll that I vaguely remember seeing somewhere.

My name is fairly common there is an artist, a nun, a financial planner and more.... Lots of the Google images when I (you?) Google my name are graphs from market reports.
Or mug shots of me, that I have used as avatars. Houses. There are photos from things I have Re-Blogged on ActiveRain.
As I look at the Google Image Search (for my name) a grizzly photo of a naked Barbie Doll with her legs chewed off is prominant.
I wanted to believe the Naked Barbie Doll with the legs chewed off is part of artist Maureen McCabe's legacy... she does really interesting art... but not icky art... or could the religious Maureen McCabe be linked to that poor lost soul with no clothes or legs... maybe with a cautionary tale about... dogs? Barbie Dolls? Nudity? Nope. Naked Barbie with her legs chewed off is related to me. I commented on the Dayton Ohio real estate blog of Teri Lussier... long ago, Dog Toy Barbie. Teri photographed the grizzly scene during the showing of a vacant home.
Charles Buell has run into more than one "Barbie" in home inspections.

I see some of the grizzly home inspection images Charles shares on ActiveRain on the Charles Buell Image Search. The snake skeleton... Charles picture of a rat skeleton is the one that disturbs me the most. Seeing the animal alive would scare me worse.

In Google Image search if you click on the link it takes you to the website. Poor Naked No Knees Barbie photo takes me to Teri's blog post and my comment. The market reports take me to ActiveRain or my Outside blogs. I do not recognize the room above but it takes me to my website.
