Go back in time at the Homestead Museum in the City of Industry, California! What a great way to explore the history of Los Angeles from the 1830’s and the 1930’s.

This unique museum sits on six acres! On the six acres sits the Workman House a country house that was constructed in the 1870’s around an 1840’s adobe building.

You will also find the La Casa Nueva, a beautiful 1920’s Spanish Colonial Revival Mansion built by Walter Temple and his wife Laura.

One of the region’s oldest private cemeteries is the El Campo Santo. The El Campo Santo contains the remains of many prominent pioneer families. This includes the last governor of Mexican California, Pio Pico.
