Bad Behavior Will Cost You!

A Randy Moss Minnesota Vikings Jersey on the discout rack

Bad Behavior Will Cost You!

If you follow NFL Football you probably know all about the Minnesota Vikings and Randy Moss.

We drafted Randy originally back in the late 1990s and had a really interesting season. We beat Green Bay at Green Bay, and ran up the point total all season. It was exciting and for a while we thought, maybe this year we'll go to the Super Bowl!

But Randy Moss, the talented toddler, would play only so much. Then he would have a mental reboot, or an LSD flashback, or something. He just quit: running, catching, caring! Trouble with the law followed.

Randy left Minnesota, and went to Oakland and New England, etc. This year the Vikings brought him back! Well the owners fired him and the head coach, and now he's gone for good!

So, Liz and I were in Kohl's the other day, and there on the Super Sale Rack is Randy Moss #84 jersey, marked way way down. If he wrote his autobiography today, they would have to tuck a $50 bookmark into each copy.

Arrogance will come back to bite you. Bad Behavior will cost you!

Good luck Randy.

Maybe the Vikings would like to trade him for Arrington from the Redskins...unfortunately bad behavior in professional sports doesn't seem to hurt their ability to make millions a year.  Yet in real estate it could end your career.

Dean and Sonia: There was talk earlier in the year, but I didn't believe it. The fans own the team right? They wouldn't put up with him.

Susan; I sense some frustration from you. Go out in the yard and kick your football around for a while:) Tennissee got Randy.

Pat; Bad behavior seems to go with pro sports. We have Brett Favre and his cell phone camera with the Vikings yet. If I did anything like that with my cell, my wife would...well you know.

I'd like to think he'll pay -- in some way.  But the truth is, he'll probably get paid.  Sorry state of affairs, isn't it?

Steve, an important message and a great reminder especially this time of year - don't want to be on that naughty list!

More opinions than you want to hear about.

Arrogance in itself is excusable.  When combined with stupidity, laziness, and general inability to perform, it makes for the attributes you like to see in the other teams' players.  As Minnesota fans, the high point in our season may have been the ability to raise our right hands and wave goodbye to Randy for a second time.

Cinnamon; He has already made more money than most of us will ever see. We pay athletes more than doctors. More than almost anyone.

Karen; I am guessing Santa won't be stopping at Randy's house!

Mike; I could not have said it better, although I hope we've waived goodbye for the last time. I think the realization is starting to set in for Randy, that he isn't as good as he thought he was!

I took lots of Michael Vick grief being in Georgia. LOL, But I'm a chargers fan. It's so sad that people don't realize the cost of bad behavior.

It is kind of refreshing to see bad behavior appropriately priced!  LOL

I am tired of seeing arrogance rewarded.

Tammy: How do you get to be a Chargers fan while living in Georgia? Is that even legal? LOL I know what you mean about Michael Vick, cause all our friends are animal lovers.

Judi; That was our reaction. The Free Market System at work. One of the best things about AR is I have come across alot of humble, generous and intelligent people. Almost all very polite and thoughtful:)

Thanks for your comments ladies!

It is so sad to see such talent corrupted and wasted -- lives devastated and changes forever.

I agree, sad is probably the best word for this. I wish him well, and hope he learns responsibility is the best pay and the highest reward:)
