Giving the Gift of Hope .... Priceless

Home Stager

Giving the priceless gift of hope this holiday season.

I feel so very blessed to have had the opportunity to experience the miracle of adoption.  The little girl we adopted came to us as a foster child - and we were so very fortunate to be able to keep her!  Our story seems almost like a fairy tale because the whole process went so smoothly.  Having the loving support of a huge number of family members and friends sure helped out a lot. But even with all that support, it's still not always easy to integrate two lsscultures into one family....

The Lutheran Social Services Post Adoption Resource Center offers some amazing programs for adoptive families.  My daughter and I have both benefited from many of them.
Right now LSS is offering EVERYONE the opportunity to make a difference in a child's life.  Please visit to find out how you can make a positive impact on families who have decided to take this life-long journey.

And please click the "share" icon to let your friends and family know about this wonderful opportunity to make a difference in an adoptee's life this holiday season.
Thanks for your help!

This is Day 22 of my Be Thankful Challenge and I'd like to express my gratitude for the work that Lutheran Social Services has done and continues to do.  They have been uniting families for 140 years!

I hope you consider joining me in my Holiday Season "Be Thankful Challenge" - I've learned that its important to find time in each day to be grateful because .... “There is a calmness to a life lived in gratitude, a quiet joy.” ~ Ralph H. Blum, author

Karen, I adopted my children as well!  Our stories are so similar.  Aren't we blessed?  My kids are now 23 and 17.  They came to me at 7 and 2.  I still can't believe it's been this long.   We are both lucky Mom's!  Merry Christmas from my family, to yours ;)

You always have such wonderful posts.  You are definitely teaching your daughter all the right things.  I bet she is really quite something, just like you.  I have several friends who have adopted and they are so blessed. :) Gail

Karen I have heard nightmare stories from families that have tried to adopt a child, so your blog is a breath of fresh air, and that it does not have to be difficult.  That in fact it can be a pleasant and easy process if done through the right people.
