Costco Plan to Stop Selling Apple Products

Costco for many years have sold iPods, Apple accessories, and even iTune cards with a minor discount. Beside buying Apple products at big chains like the Apple store, Best Buys, or Frys for the easy return and warranty, Costco would be the main place to go.

Today I saw an article that Costco plan to stop selling Apple products at their stores. Maybe there were some disagreements or something but it seem like lost business for both companies. From the OC Register online article it might have to do with the iPad. I was planning to get a couple of ipods from Costco and either need to get it now or get it from somewhere else.

If a big company like Costco stop selling a favorite brand, would it stop you from shopping there or reduce your shopping trip from that store?

Wow that's crazy! I am surprised they are doing that! I will still shop there though. There are many other things I get from Costco than Apple products. Thanks for the update!

If this is true then Apple messed up. I do love their products but don't like the heavy handed marketing and bundling of software with hardware.

Michael: Yeah that was surprising and unfortunate.

Kate: This isn't the first time that Costco pulled products out. A while back, they tried to take off Pepsi because Pepsi didn't want to give them any special price breaks and made up a few months later.

That would be crazy for them to stop selling apple products. It wouldn't stop me from shopping there.
