Thank you for contacting United Country VIP Realty. We're located in south central Missouri and I think you'll find our area the perfect place to call home! Below, you'll find information on our area, a few options for financing and a small sample of homes available in Lebanon, MO.
Lebanon, Missouri is the county seat of Laclede County and is located about two and a half hours from St. Louis. We're about the same distance from Kansas City; forty-five minutes from Lake of the Ozarks; two hours from Branson. We really are convenient to almost everywhere!
Fort Leonard Wood, the army's largest installation in the US is less than forty five minutes from Lebanon. Fort Wood is an awesome Post, with a brand new PX, a large hospital system, and incredible growth. Have you been to Fort Wood in the past? Many of the training schools are located here - I wouldn't be surprised to hear you're already familiar with the Fort and our area!
Lebanon is also home to Bennett Springs State Park- one of the most popular trout fishing parks in the entire Midwest. The Gasconade River and the Niangua River both run through the area, perfect if you enjoy floating and canoing. If you hunt, you'll find plenty of deer and turkey in the area. Our area is scenic - I am still amazed how blue the sky can be, how green the grass can be and how the colors seem to burst upon us in the spring. You'll find all four seasons here - and something different to do all year long! I could go on and on, but I won't!
With your military background, I would highly encourage you to ask about your VA benefits and a VA loan. I have worked with a variety of lenders - sometimes a VA loan is the best option for a new buyer and sometimes there are other programs that may work better. Since you hav money to put down, I encourage you to talk to a lender or two - there are a wide variety of loan products out there. Here are a few local lenders that my clients and I have worked with:

Your email mentioned a condo. .. I have to tell you, David, we only have a handful of condos in the area! I am confident we can find you a great home that will fit your budget. I'm not sure what amenities are important to you, so I'll include only three homes. After you look these over, please let me know what you think.
