My wife, Jerri, and I represent The Ridge at Schweitzer…a spectacular ski mountain development at Schweitzer Mountain Resort with drop-dead views of Schweitzer’s ski runs with the addition of views of Lake Pend Oreille and surrounding mountain vistas. Sandpoint met ALL of those requirements. The one thing we didn’t expect was that there would be no compromise. We assumed where ever we ended up would, in some way, fall short of our beloved Aspen. Not the case. In fact, the reverse is true…thanks in a big way to Lake Pend Oreille. (What a dimension that adds to “the lifestyle”).
I should add that Schweitzer averages over 300" of snow per season, has some of the best glade skiing around (ranked 3rd best in North America) and boasts over 2900 skiable acres.

The Ridge at Schweitzer is a new and growing mountain community just 1 mile from the main Schweitzer Village and the lifts on the front side of the ski area. Currently there are 18 remaining lots available in Phase One of the development ranging in price from 89,000 (for a lot zoned for a 1-unit, single family home) up to 150,000 (for a lot zoned for 3 units). These prices allow the “average dreamer” to actually afford their “dream”.
