Come...the doors are always open.

"Come"

 The doors are always open!

When joy comes & praise calls,

They are always open.

In the cold of the night when

Darkness surrounds the soul...

Always open.

Even when we think

We shouldn't go in, out of pain,

Out of shame...always open.

Always open for God's precious ones.

YOU are God's precious one!

Come...for although you might think it too late,

                                                                   There is always room inside.

                                                                    -Valerie Sagheddu

I just wrote a post about why I have not been posting...I've been very busy playing with clay... Sorry...I've just been wallowing in the MUD...and next I'll be splashing in puddles across the pond!!

Before I was a Professional Home Stager...I was... and continue to be an artist!

Soooo..... I thought It would be nice to share some of my Art (Clay, paintings and photography) from time to time and the inspiration behind it. There is always a depth to my work that is not always apparent so I write lots of poetry, like the one above, to go with my pieces or I will attach a scripture verse. I give out little cards with each work sold that has the appropriate saying or poem on the back

and this on the front...

My sincere hope, in my work and in

my life, is to create, inspire and uplift.

To touch hearts and reach souls.

To take time and be still...

seeking always the divine,

and doing always His will.

Kathy~ I am glad you enjoyed it. I love creating these inspiring pieces...people love the poems and the cards that accompany the work especially when they are buying them as gifts. There is a great joy when someone out of the blue comes up and tells me how much one of my pieces has touched them or a friend. It is what keeps me making them as I do not really have much time to get in the studio since I started my Staging business.

Bob~ Blessed in ways beyond telling!! So much of my work comes sraight from above...I just try to get out of the way so he can use me for his purpose! Same thing when I am staging and dealing with clients...

I often think of the verse..."to whom much is given, much is expected." I try to answer that call as best I can since I know he has given me soooo much!!!!

BTW.. I know I have told you before but...Thank You God!!!

Tammy~ Yea...it's pretty awesome. We are all called to be a blessing to others. The cool thing is that through my work, I often get to see first hand how people are being blessed by his spirit working through me...Love that!

Joni~ AAWWWW!!!! I love you too SISTA!!!!!

+++I am trying to put a few more pieces and poems into draft so I can send from England...like I said...they have dial up so I do not know how successful I will be...hopefully I can get it to work!

Valarie, your poem draws my thought to Revelation: "Behold, I stand at the door an knock..."  He also said, "Knock, and it shall be opened to you..."

In Matthew, I hear Him saying, "Come unto me.." and I join John's plea in Revelation : "Come LORD Jesus."

Yes, the door is always open.  Are we always open to Him?  He makes no "politically correct", calculated & half-hearted invitation.

C.S. Lewis wrote a book on the existence of God, called He is There, and He is Not Silent, and WE HAVE A STANDING INVITATION TO CAST OUR CARES ON HIM.

Again, I hear Him--"Come unto Me all ye that labor, and are heavy laden, and I WILL give you rest."

This is WHY we can pray in confidence.

I love the song  by Vana R. Raye, "PRAY ALL THE TIME" © 1948 by Gospel Advocate Co.

"The world has lost the right of prayer, and saints have failed to pray.

What loss sustained beyond repair! How blind of heart are they!

"Pray in the morning, pray at the noon time, pray in the evening, pray any time.

Pray when you're happy, pray when in sorrow, pray when you're tempted, pray all the time."

Thank you Valerie.  Shall we pray?
