Wow! The market has really taken quite a hit. I hope you have been able to weather the storm. It looks like the market isn't going to come around for another 10-12 months. We've been able to muddle along though under our system. We've shifted our business model to include rentals with an emphasis on converting them to leases w/ option to purchase. This has helped tremendously since the qualifying criteria is no longer up to the bank. We still qualify our clients, but with less stringent requirments than the typical lender. It also gives us time to work with our clients and get them into a better position to obtain a loan at a later time. Not real fancy, but its effective.
