Things to Do in Simi Valley - Especially if you love History

By

I first lived in Simi Valley in 1986 for 12 yrs and moved away for 11 and just came back in 2009!  I had never researched the history of Simi much, besides going to the old train depot off Santa Susana road.  Living in the knolls I tried finding more history about the santa susana knolls and haven't gotten far, but ran into a historical home/museum off of Los Angeles and Madera.  Check it out, I'm going to surprise my fiance and take him there. (unless he finds my blog, then I guess it won't be a surprise!).

If you are interested in sustainable style and Simi history...check out bottle village on Cochran.

The use of mosaic tile has had a recent resurgence and can be found in building design in Venice...Pennsylvania..I think it is called the mosaic house.
