The winter snow comes early to Murphy, NC

Winter comes early to Murphy, NC

The winter snow came early to Murphy, NC as Cherokee County and the surrounding higher elevations had up to 10 inches on the mountain. Lower elevations had up to six inches of the wonderful white stuff that covered our beautiful little town with a blanket of white. Believe it or not there were no power outages reported in Murphy, NC so we all were warm and cozy inside. Snowball fights anyone?

Carol & Lee--What a beautiful shot!  Looks like you had more snow than we did.  I might just take your challenge of a snow ball fight . . . oops guess we are too far apart.  Enjoy!

HI LEE AND CAROL!  I kinda feel guilty looking at this photo - Tucson hit 84 degrees the other da. On the other hand,  I would sure like to get into a snowball fight this time of year -- a little cooler weather would do us some good here! Happy holidays to you! -- Gab
