Photo Journal - Vancouver Washington Real Estate

My original plan with the Vancouver Washington Real Estate Photo Journal was occasionally post a photo of something interesting that I ran across during my day. Little did I know that the idea would snowball like it has. It seems that I find several photo worthy items every day!

Today, Janice and I took the day off to go skiing at Mt. Hood. One of the things that I love about living in Vancouver Washington is that there is so much to do during every season. Right now it is ski season and we couldn't be luckier than to live less than 2 hours from Timberline at Mt. Hood!

Of course, every good ski lodge has a good bar. Timberline is no exception!

Photo Journal - Vancouver Washington Real Estate is a new side project for me and I will occasionally post interesting pictures of the world as I see it. Sometimes it will be related to real estate in Vancouver Washington and sometimes it won't! I am not sure where this will take me. We will just have to wait and see.

Mark:

Funny how something like this can take on a life of it's own. You are really capturing the essence of Vancouver Washington. I can feel the cool crisp air, and the contracting single malt warmth. I look forward to seeing the world as you see it through your camera lens.

Like you, one of the things I love about living in Walnut Creek is how close we are to everything from the mountains (Tahoe) to the Pacific Ocean and the Delta, to Down Town San Francisco.

You've inspired me to try and see my world the same way. Let's see what I come up with.

Thanks for sharing and inspiring.

So, you basically leave Washington, come to Oregon to have fun. I'll put that in my marketing material. (LOL)

Oops, maybe it was the essence of Oregon that was captured. After reading Todd's comment, I had to go to Google Maps to check where exactly you were (Oregon or Washington). It isn't important, just like Tahoe (it straddles California and Nevada) nature and beauty know no boundaries. And you certainly have captured the beauty. ~Rita

Rita - Thank you and I hope that you enjoy the photos that I have to share. Regarding Oregon vs. Washington, I don't pay much attention to boundries. I just go where it suits me best. It suits me best to live in Washington for the fact that we don't pay a state income tax and we have some of the best schools in the nation. It suits me to ski in Oregon because that's where the best slopes are!

Todd - Thank you for paying those outrageous taxes so that I can have nice roads to drive down on. I'll put THAT in my marketing material! LOL!!!

Michele - One thing I have learned about snow, you don't have to be ready for it to show up!

Mark--Beautiful shots of the mountain...love the ski lift photo with all the snow covered pines. We have snow but no mountains...just big hills for the kids to ski on. :)
