I am taking Jennifer Prestwich's challenge of doing 31 one things in 31 days.
What do you have to do? Do 1 thing per day that would further your business. This might be a blog post, Facebook note, tweet, text, phone call or email. It could be a newsletter, event, or postcard. In my opinion, you should be doing this many times a day, besides your normal business, if it were showing homes or doing mortgage applications. Keeping in front of people daily is marketing and branding. But in my opinion, don't spam yourself, do it naturally and genuinely.
Day 15 - 12/15/10
Earlier today, I shared a post about Klout. Have you heard of it? Another tool to your arsenal when it comes to Social Networking. Please read : Are you throwing your Klout around???
Now, in regards to this post, I am not telling you to do everything possible to get your Klout score up. This could backfire on you. Most kinds of systems and or programs can be gamed per se, manipulated. But Klout, if used correctly, could keep you on your feet on what you need to focus on daily.
Overall, please read my post : Are you throwing your Klout around?
It could be an eye opener, a new tool, and or some understanding of what Klout is. And if you think that post is good enough, please don't hesitate to click the suggest button. I hate self-promotion, but I think this is a good post for many to learn from. Or don't hesitate to reblog it. Thanks
Other than that, I just did my usual networking on facebook, on my fan page (updating consumers on today's interest rates), and my normal follow up calls. We also held our weekly Mortgage Myth Busters conference call and discussed a few things. We are going to be inviting guest bloggers on our site, preferably realtors from all over, to post once in a while. Please stay tuned for this after the holidays.
