Pay It Forward - Rain Reciprocal 'Riting

My subscriber list is smaller so I can still respond to each of them daily (and I do try to do that).  I also respond to posters on my blogs but haven't had the time lately to venture outside of my AR circle to find new and interesting bloggers to subscribe to.  Perhaps if/when things slow down I can do more of that. 

Cindy~ You are right I don't travel outside my list much but how are we going to find those other interesting people here ins the rain?! I have been making myself visit new people to what they have to say also!

Being somewhat new to the Rain, I am still learning the etiquette of the Rain, but you make a very valid point about meeting new people in the Rain and the importance of showing your appreciation for people taking the time to read and comment.

I've started doing this -- and boy the things I'm learning!  It's great to step outside of our comfort zone and meet new bloggers.  I've added 5 of them to my subscription list this week alone.  Lets hope they don't all pull a BLiz, Tish or Melissa and post every day -- I can't keep up!

Indy - Cindy - Hope you dont' mind me calling you that... Thanks for commenting on my post as well. I too find some very interesting posts when I go back to people that have commented on my own posts.. Time permitting of course. I do have to stay in business and I'm not a fast writer...

Hi Cindy, this is such a great idea and a great way to see some blogs that you haven't seen. I started to do this as well, so commend you on this as it can be time comsuming, but oh so worth it.

Well said Cindy and it does take alot of work....even if it isn't a featured post and you wonder sometimes if the commenter ever comes back to see how you responded. Anyway good points in this post, especially the one about going outside your 'group'! 

Cindy---I have barely had any featured posts, but unless I have missed someone unintentionally, I have always reciprocated when someone has commented on one of my posts.  It is very time consuming.  I am wondering how this will all work out once spring gets here and our truly busy season!!  You could prbably teach a class in time management!!

Last January Sheldon Neil blogged about and made a point to "visit each of his subscibers"  Took him a while and he blogged about his journey along the way.  That was fun and I think if I get a chance I'm going to do that this next year.  But between now and new year's Day I'm going to be doing good to get a post in.  I have SO much left to do.  My dad having two surgeries in December put a kink in my pre set plans. 

Oh and just for kicks I just suggested this post... hope it doesn't make you work to hard if you get that star.  But it's a great one.

Cindy in Indy, I totally agree. Yes it can be time consuming to keep up with comments but we'd miss our reader/commenters if they went away! Great post.

That'll definitely keep you busy, but I think it's a good thing.
