YES! NOW IS A GOOD TIME TO PUT YOUR HOME ON THE MARKET!

I have had many phone calls from potential Sellers this week all asking me if now is a good time to put their homes on the market. My response, "YES!" If you need to sell your home, NOW is a great time. Here are my reasons:

Many companies began strategically moving personnel right now. Many folks are getting their notices that they will be relocated.
The holidays find many people using this time to shop for their homes. They have the time off and use it to their advantage.
The Internet opens up an entire world to our market. Getting your home listed now gets it out there as people are planning their 2011.
The new year finds many people ready to make changes. If your home is already listed, you have a jump start on those who are waiting until after the new year to list.
If you are planning to be out of town during the holidays all the more perfect for having your home listed. You don't have to worry about making those beds for showings!

We all hear this question all of the time and especially now during the holidays. I do not close shop during the holidays. I would love to help you list your home or to help you find a perfect home! Call me anytime to schedule something!

Paula, like you, I feel that whenever you have to move is a good time to put your house on the market. Buyers searching during the holidays are serious about moving otherwise they'd be out shopping!

Most times, life changing events don't recognize the holidays on the calendar. And many people have more time around holidays when they can look at homes. The time to list your home is when you want to move on. Proper pricing and preparation will get you the best price no matter when you list.

Now is a great time to list your home is right on the money! Homes look great decorated for the holidays, buyers seem to be more serious this time of the year, there is less competition right now and interest rates are fantastic and that may not be the case for long.
