One of the best reasons for purchasing a HUD home is that owner-occupants may qualify for and FHA loan with only $100 down. It’s one of the best opportunities around for buyer with income and good credit, but not a lot of cash on hand.

Best of all, HUD employs a blind bidding process that gives all owner-occupant buyers an opportunity to make an offer during the exclusive period!

Richard ~ These homes are affordable and there are some good buys out there.  Our HUD homes go fast in our market.  I had to become a HUD approved Broker to be able to put bids in on these homes this year.  No easy task but worth it.

Richard:  Out here in California, most of the HUD homes are in such bad shape and it's hard to get into them and when you do there's no utilities, so I refer calls to hud approved agents!

HUD owned properties also have a wonderful program that will give police officers, fireman, teachers and EMT 50% off the list price and $100 down payment..... amazing stuff.  Easy loan program in which to qualify.
