Anyone who knows me knows that I am a huge pet lover and they are forever sending me anything and everything pet related. I just recently got this video and mushy me couldn't stop crying throughout the whole thing. It didn't help that I absolutely love the song too!
Anyway, check it out and please remember the message. It's such a wonderful message and so vitally important to so many precious little creatures.

Donne, Our 10 cats say if we bring another furry ANYTHING in the house there's going to be hell to pay! But we did drop off a case and a half of Friskies canned foot at our local Humane Society today.
Mel - WOW!!! What a great story! I did something similar many years ago, took in a pregnant stray. She had seven babies but I did keep one and I had both mama and her baby for many, many years. However, whenever we brought a doggy into the home, they made sure from the get-go that those doggies knew who was boss. You know what they say, "CATS RULE & DOGS DROOL". LMAO!!!
Tammy - ROTFLMAO!!! Everytime I bring up getting another fur baby, hubby goes a little nutty. Sometimes I do just to get him riled up. LOL
Jennifer - I know, I've watched it a dozen times already and can't manage to get through it even once without some tears.
Jason - For many years, we were both a kitty and doggy household. The kitties passed away a couple of years ago (16 & 17) and now it's just the three doggies. Don't worry about mixed households, kitties have a way of letting everyone else know they are the rulers.
BLiz - LMAO!!! Hubby knows how your kitties feel! He tells me the same thing every time I talk about bringing home another fur baby.

Love it. I'm a huge pet lover. One time for my parent's anniversary I got them 2 kittens from a shelter. I think that was my favorite gift I gave them. What a super video and super present for family this time of year. I think I'll reblog.
Donne - I wish I could rescue every pet. We currently have a rescue that my mom found on the side of the expressway 10 years ago and we adopted our other dog, Ace, from a family that could no longer keep in.
Now I am sad. Our dog went missing on the fourth of July. I wonder were or if he is this Christmas.
Zoe & I have plans to buy a farm -- yes, they do exist here near the shore! -- and have as many animals as we can care for. We've already started in our little cottage, 3 cats and 3 dogs. Hope our farm dreams are realized soon, or I won't have a place to sleep myself!
I admire the folks who do animal rescue, They take in numerous strays and adopt them out. I have three dogs and two cats. My husband and I are outnumbered!
Jane - It is sad that so many will never find a home but it's good to know that many will eventually find a forever home.
Debbie - Pets are wonderful companions, especially for older adults. I always recommend adopting rescues over buying pet shop pets.
Michelle - Ace the pug is absolutely adorable and so is your other doggy too. So glad you rescued your fur babies and I'm sure they are too.
Gene - So sorry to hear about your doggy. I hope one day you find him or at least the he found another good home. I've actually heard about a lot of dogs that run away on the 4th because of the fireworks.

CA - You and Zoe sound like kindred souls because buyng a huge piece property for as many fur babies as I can have has always been a dream of mine too. For now, hubby and I make do in the city with our three fur babies.
Pam - Hubby and I are outnumbered too with our three fur babies. If I didn't have to work for a living, I would definitely be one of those women with way too many pets.

Joni - That's a houseful. For many years, hubby and I had 2 doggies and 2 kitties too. But then a few years ago, our kitties passed away within a few months of each other; they were 16 & 17. After that we got another doggy and have had three doggies ever since. I can't imagine life without them but I would love to get another kitty someday.

Barbara - That's so wonderful that you have rescued and adopted your fur babies. All of us my fur babies have always been rescued and adopted. The world needs more people like us. Hopefully, one day we can end pet homelessness.
