Most Mortgage Brokers and some Lenders offer the Reverse Mortgage, but they simply do it out of necessity or because a Reverse Mortgage client has come their way. There are some companies that focus the majority of their attention on certain niche products, and my company and I focus over 90% of our efforts on offering the Reverse Mortgage program to our clients 62 and over.
I am a Reverse Mortgage Expert. I specialize in this program, and focus on my attention on helping the borrowers who need or want the Reverse Mortgage. As of writing this today, I have almost reached the milestone of single-handedly closing 100 Reverse Mortgages. Not to include the 100s more than my office has closed.
Why the Reverse Mortgage?
Almost 5 years ago, I met with a fellow Mortgage Professional who showed me that all the myths about the program were just that, MYTHS. So I told my grandparents about it, but they felt there was no need. Then in early 2008, my grandparents decided that they should take a closer look. I am one of their direct heirs because my mother passed away, so my Aunt, Uncle, Brother, and I all agreed that they should use THEIR MONEY (the money they earned and put into their house) to live better.
So this opened my eyes to the possibility of being able to help more people in their same situation. I aligned myself with a fledgling Reverse Mortgage Lender, and it was the best decision I could have made. We ranked #2 in Florida and #25 in the US amongst all Reverse Mortgage lenders in early 2010. We continue to grow and because of my knowledge and expertise in the program I am now managing, mentoring, training, and leading all the Mortgage Professionals in our office.
