Are You Holiday Networking?

Real Estate Broker/Owner with Fran Rokicki Realty, LLC

Are you holiday networking?  With your clients, neighbors and business associates?  Do you have a list of these people that you can refer to?

Your clients, sure, you have a dateabase for their names and contact information.

Your neighbors and friends, should be on another database list.  You can use this list to invite them to certain events that you may host that would be helpful to them.

Business associates.  Who would they be?

These folks would be home inspectors, plumbers, attorneys, paralegals, electricians, car mechanic, cleaners, restaurants that you are at, frequently, roofers, contractors, pest control, etc.  Anyone that you may come in contact with on a regular basis while processing through a transaction.

You should be networking with all of the above categories of Business Associates. There is still time.  You can stop by and see them at their place of business.  Bring along hot coffee or holiday cookies.  It doesn't have to be much, just something to let them know, that you appreciate them.  When you call your business associates, in a panic, trying to solve a crisis in the middle of a transaction, these folks jump in and help you.  Nice to let them know, how much you appreciated them, throughout the past year.  If you cannot fit it in, prior to Christmas Day, take the rest of this year to stop by and greet them with a small item of value.  What better way to start off the new year?

I saw your beach bike photo in the profile and it made me miss Florida momentarily. I see you are in CT, probably wishing it were a bit warmer right now.

Vickie, Oh, yes!  It has been a cold winter, so far.  It feels like snow, today, though it is not in the immediate forecast for us:)  That photo was taken in San Diego.  I just cannot bring myself to take it down.  Florida is chilly right now, too!

Absolutely!  With all the parties going on, it's a great time to mix networking with socializing.  Happy Holidays, Fran!

Yes, I have had to switch bankers and attorneys, because of a spouse who became an agent.  You have to work your business like a business.  No offense to those people, but...

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a lovely Christmas and I hope to see you soon, at a Buffini Turning Point!
