Is this Real Estate Market all that it's cracked up to be?

Y'know, everyday we hear how bad this market is both online, on tv, by colleagues. I seem to wear my "oh the market sucks" badge everywhere I go when I present my card because I always get the same comments: Are you selling anything?". People actually look shocked when I ysay, actually I have and lots more are selling, just take a look at the recent sales in Coral Springs, Fl where I farm the most.

Although I bought property when the market was booming and I am crying right now, I am also a realist. There are peaks and troughs and both sides must come and both sides must go. Few years ago, it was the sellers turn and now, it is the buyers turn. This is the perfect time for deals and we as realtors should be on hand to make those deals happen.

We can do it. We just have to realise that we have to figure out other ways of converting those listings into closed transactions. Hey, try property management too. That's not that bad...it pays for the gas at least!!

Afie, I get the same question and reaction......with the media telling everyone how bad the market is it's a wonder anyone buys a home....we have to tough it out through the highs and the lows.

Afie, that is the biggest problem these days is the t.v. the radio the news everwhere we look it is like wow the market is so bad. but from another point of view homes are still selling, i mean homes were selling in the 80's when the rates were in the teens, now the rates are in the 6-7 range... The market is just self correcting itself.

Thanks Kyle. I am not going anywhere. I will be one of the very best left standing... no matter how long it takes. This is my passion and I won't part with it. This market has only made me more determined to succeed.
