I've not posted for Speechless Sunday in sometime....not sure why?
But I am happy that blogging has made me take more pictures when I travel, or when I'm out and about. (At least if I don't forget the camera...)

What part of the Great Smokies is that located? Looks like it would offer an incredible view.
The photo is of the observation platform at Clingman's Dome in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. At 6,643 feet, it is the highest mountain in the park and one of the highest points in the Eastern U.S.
As the sign also states, "Climatic conditions, however, may interfere with long range viewing." Ya think?

I am fascinated by mountain views. They relax me just as a water view does.
What't the elevation in that area.
Like I said in Charlotte, I think it's important that we always have a camera with us as you never know when the right time is going to come up.
