TURNING PICTURES INTO FOOTPRINTS
I just read this very interesting article about what bad people are able to do with the help of all these new smart phones. With the hipe of "Big Brother" already having access to your private conversations, what's worse knowing civilians are able to track where you are based off the "GeoTag" your phone creates when you take pictures. If you use an iPhone or Driod then you probably already know that it will track the GPS location of your phone when the photo was taken. This information has recently been used for criminals to see when you are or aren't home. Kinda creepy. Imagine snapping a quick photo of a listing or a family event and basically letting the burgler know that now is the best time to make an appearnce to your home. NOT TO MAKE YOU PARANOID or anything.
The more sophisticated technology gets the smarter these scams are getting. I thought this was interested being how everyone these days has a SMART PHONE these days and probably uses the camera to upload images directly to Facebook for Twitter.
