Please Back up your Computer

The unthinkable happened last night, my MAC has what technical support calls kernal failure, which means it's not working right now. On top of that I haven't backed it up recently. If I lose all of my information it will take significant time to replace. I've been trying not to panic, there's a chance I haven't lost anything, but please learn from my mistake and back up your computer weekly!

Oh, Christina, it can't be said often enough!  (Says she whose new name is Dances on Hard Drives, having fried two in the space of 5 months - and, no, they weren't backed up, since my external hard drive wasn't working, either.)

I feel for you.  Take deep breaths and, if all else fails, just remember what my computer guru told me (no, I didn't hit him, he was wise enough to say it on the phone):  "There's always more data."

I seem to recall sending this link before (www.carbonite.com), but merely for the sake of repetitive reiteration, for under $.14 per day (yes. 14 cents.) you can get unlimited space backup over your broadband connection, and never have to worry about it. Simply restore on-line after you get your machine back up.
