Black out and a White out...nature puts on a show.

By
Managing Real Estate Broker with Alpine Lakes Real Estate Inc., NHRE# 02863

A Lunar Eclipse happened to Coincide with the Winter Solstice (on the same night)...the last time this occurred was over 400 years ago.

The White Out in Franconia Notch...on the other hand - Happens all the time. Every time it snows in the Notch it can be a major snow storm.

Steve,  I admit I stayed up late last night to catch the lunar eclipse.  Tried my hand at a few pictures but my camera had other thoughts and I just couldn't get close enough to get a good one.  Yours is very cool!

Steve - We just had our first snow fall of the season. Perhaps more snow tomorrow night too. It's so pretty, but it can all go to NH after the holiday!! BTW, I can't stay up that late either. Good idea with the black dot.  LOL

Steve:  Did you really put a black dot over the moon?  How clever ... made me smile.  It was raining here so didn't get a chance to see it.  Awww.  I thought your image was the real deal.
