The real estate market report for sales/market activity for August 2007 is as follows:
Single family activity for August:
- 196 re-sale homes currently for sale in the city, compared to 107 for the month of July.
- 5 homes sold and currently in escrow, compared to 17 for July.
- 15 homes closed escrow in August, similar to 16 for July. .
- 39 homes were taken off the market, or listings expired or withdrawn for the month fewer than July.
Condominium/town-homes for August:
- 40 condo/town-homes currently for sale, up from 40 from prior month.
- 0 properties sold in August compared to 5 in July and 7 for June. This is the first time in years I've seen zero sales for condos in this city.
- 15 properties closed escrow, compared to 15 July.
