Take the Mainstreet/RidgeGate Parkway to I-25
If you have every driven Lincoln Avenue from Parker Road to I25 during commuter traffic hours, you know how bad it can be. Too many cars, too many traffic lights, not enough patience!
As of Monday, December 13th, we have alternative route that most of us probably don't know about. I tried it out myself yesterday and it was smooth sailing all the way. Granted most of it is two lanes, not four lanes and it's just 45 miles an hour....the important thing...very few traffic lights or stop signs!
Douglas County's newest east-west corridor is 3.5 miles long. It begins at Mainstreet and becomes RidgeGate Parkway.
