Sign of the times, or thinking outside the box ? from Charleston, SC

LOOK CLOSE!!  I stopped in my tracks when I stumbled upon this scene.  My first thoughts was that the person driving this car must be must not have any other transportation options.  After all, the car seems to be functional. It was parked outside a local restaurant.  After a second look, I saw character in this car.

Think outside the box in Charleston, SC

The character I saw reflects determination, creativity, and a will to "make do" in these economic times.  Sometimes we have to think outside the box !  For those who don't see "it" right away, notice the wire coming from the hood going through the door.

Looks like a normal car to me. Am I missing something? Not everyone likes new cars, I've never bought one new.

Hi Robert, I thought about highlighting the wire coming from under the hood through the car door.  Maybe I need to go back and do that.  thanks.  Thanks for the comment and Merry Christmas.

We just call that "eurotech" customization. I'm just anti-glam when it comes to cars. A Volvo owner could probably tell you exactly what the wire is for because it probably solves a volvo-specific common problem. It would help if they painted it blue...

I wondered what that red wire thing was for....I have to be kinder to my car, as I will need to stretch out its life too!

Love the "eurotech" and "anti-glam" .  This takes one back to the basics.  lol
