This is one of the two Sundays, Easter Sunday being the other, that The Kuney-Todaro Team does not have an open house event scheduled. We are such creatures of habit and without those Thursday open house posts my regular timetable was thrown off.

Habits and weekly routines are a good practice to develop. To successfully establish a routine, one must first be honest about selecting a task that is not "punishment" to complete every week. Many of our required daily and weekly real estate tasks are not activities that excite us.

In order to succeed with instituting real estate routines, one must want to participate in that undertaking. Start the New Year on the right foot and decide what real estate activities you will initiate in 2011. Make sure that task is not a "chore" to execute. If it is, you'll procrastinate and the program will never get launched. Be honest with yourself, and create a routine that you will honor and will lead you to a successful 2011.

Sound advice Barbara. Developing and sticking with a system should pay dividends long-term. If results don't come (set a realistic timeline), re-evaluation, tweaking, and/or wholesale changes will be necessary.

Chris Ann....there are many that I know I won't do....so I never listed them as part of my yearly plan....cold calling and knocking on doors were never appealing to me in past years....

Barbara, I am going to throw myself out more to attend social events, not the party type, something more meaningful. I am not really a social butterfly, but I can be if I want to.
