Valerie Zinger

Welcome to Ralph's Weekly Feature: Two Truths and a Lie: Guess Which One Is The Lie?

Each week, I'm going to feature one Active Rain Member, with their photo, and what they are going to do is tell you 2 Truths about them and 1 Lie.

The object of the game is to guess which of the 3 bits of trivia about them is a lie!

I will post the answer in that same blog at the end of the week on Fridays so you can all find out!

It's a great way to get to know your fellow Active Rain members and staff.

This week, we will be featuring: Valerie Zinger

Valerie is Real estate representative with Royal LePage Gale in the National Capital Region of Ottawa-Ontario-Canada. She has a background in government, and is excellent with relocations and working with new buyers & sellers. Valerie is focused on service & satisfaction.

OK, Here goes:

I lived in Spain and taught guitar to earn enough money to stay.

I caught an almost 30 pound trout while fishing on a lake near the Arctic.

I was in a hot air balloon when I almost fell out of the basket searching for my backyard.

OK, gang. Tell me which one is the lie!

Remember, for those members who guess the most amount of correct lies at the end of the month, you will be awarded 1,500 Bonus Points! If there is a tie, each member who ties will be awarded 1,000 Bonus Points!

(Also, for those of you who would like to be featured, let me know, send me your 2 Truths And a Lie without telling me which is the lie and I will put you on the list - remember! make them good ones!)

Two is the lie.  Valerie looks to have too sunny a disposition to be fishing in the Arctic.

Geez, well last time I really over analyed and completely missed. So this time, I'm just going to close my eyes and point! There - #2. Number two is the lie.

I totally see #2 and #3 as happening but am going to say while she may have lived in Spain, she did not support herself by teaching guitar.  I'm going with #1.

Well, I guessed the guitar a lie, since you said you didn't know much about "jazz", I would have thought someone teaching music might have familiarity with jazz.  Stumped me!!

It helps to readcorrectly (LOL).  "I caught an almost 30 pound trout while fishing on a lake near the Arctic" as I almost caught .... what a hoot!  Thus, my comment ... how does one almost catch a fish.  Congratulations to the good guessers!

Well, here is one for all you disbelievers:

a Lake Trout (Salvelinus namaycush) can weigh up to 50 lbs, although the norm is 5-12 lbs.  Anyone now changing his or her mind about the lie?

I have only just joined and my responde won't count but I would have guessed #1.  I would go up in a hot air balloon - I would NOT lean over the sides, though but can think of a friend or two who would!!!
