What a great ending to the Cards / Cowboys game on Christmas. If you live here in AZ, this is a big game. Looking in the stands you'll see an almost even mixture of Dallas blue and Cardinal Red. The teams didn't disappoint and gave the hometown Cards crowd a game worth watching.
And now, (in the words of Paul Harvey) "the rest of the story".
Reading the paper this morning, the Cards win came with sacrifice....giving up the No. 4 Draft pick. I don't know much about the game of football and all the politics that go along, but one reporter in today's paper thought this was a pretty big deal. And, from our record, we could use all the help we could get.
But the bigger message is that they didn't give up! Even though this win would do nothing to propel them into even a Wildcard position, they played with integrity until the end. They fought, they battled, they erred---and they won.
In 2011 I invite you to play until the end. When you feel like giving up after a day of lead generating and no appointments, DONT GIVE UP! Keep calling, keep following up, keep lead generating.
