Sally, thank you, I needed to hear this on this very very cold, snowy and windy day!

Always!  We just had a record snow here in Virginia and it allowed my mom to have her flight cancelled and she can spend four extra days with us.  Yeah!  We are enjoying just staying at home and enjoying family time because it is too treacherous to be out on the road.  Inconvenient but we love the family time.

Sally, with the blizzrd conditions of the past day, sunsine and flowers are a welcome change.

Sally - what is that purple flower? It is so beautiful and I am hoping that it will grow here as well!

I opened your post because I loved the title and I wasn't disappointed just a little jealous, we are snowed in and so I enjoyed your flowers.  It will be a while before we have flowers in NY.

Sally, I needed that ray of sunshine you sent our way.  I am 11 miles outside of Boston and it looks like a sea of whipped cream out there, except it is bow all around.  Happy Healthy Prosperous New Year.

Woo Hoo, Great message and the tree ain't bad either. I used to have one of those in my yard, they are most often referred to as orchid trees, though real orchids don't grow from trees. It's almost 2011. I have been working on my 2010 San Diego in Photos Review post all day. Still not ready  but it is looking good so far.

I got to experience some rain in Honolulu before I left for home tonight. Rain is welcomed especially after experiencing 110+ degree weather all summer.  As usual, you always have such a great disposition and outlook in life.

Flowers in the trees. Now that is something we don't have much of here. I'll be in Kauai in February and I can't wait to see them for myself!
