The Adamson House A.K.A. Vaquero Hill was built in 1930 for Rhoda Rindge Adamson and Merritt Huntley Adamson.

The house was based on the Mediterranean style, designed by Stiles O. Clement.

The Adamson House has been called the “Taj Mahal of Tile” because of its use of gorgeous ceramic tile throughout the entire house!

In 1977, the Adamson House was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
