Carri was born across the river in Lobdell, La where she lived till she was 10 years old. Then she was hit with the news that she would be moving to the great big suburb of NYC, Staten Island, NY. Being a 10 year old cajun in the Big Apple, had its hurdles, but soon Carri adapted, even picking up some of the northern slang.
Then at 14 Carri's mom got transferred back to Louisiana, and they made Baton Rouge their home. Carri attended catholic school all her life, but when they returned home she began her freshman year at Christian Life Academy. From their she went on to USL, but received her degree in Mass Communications with a minor in journalism, from Southeastern Louisiana University.
Carri was awarded the National Journalism Honor upon graduation, Pi Delta Epsilom. She was a member of Tri Delta sorority at USL, and at SLU she wrote for the Lion's Roar, and had many of her writings published.
After college she turned an internship at Fox a full time job, and also worked for NBC33. Her biggest success was receiving a job offer at CNN in Atlanta, after completing an internship.
After being in broadcasting for many years, Carri ventured into sales, she was a Manager at Storehouse Furniture, where she was awarded four major awards for this fortune 500 company, including Manager of the Year, Comeback Store of the Year, Highest % of sales and delivered, and lowest inventory variance. She then was co-owner of her own business, along side her mom.
Then after years of being her own boss, Carri joined McCall Montgomery Real Estate. She began in web design, and marketing. Then with the guidance of her mentor, she got her Real Estate License. She has a true passion and gift for working with people, and design, so it is a given that she loves helping people find the home of their dreams.
