How to succeed in today's tough market part 2
As a Real Estate Marketing Consultant i am priveledged to talk with agents/brokers all the time that are having issues in today's up & down market. Looking back the last 12 months, BEING REALISTIC, what would you do differently to have a better 2011? Most will try the same things, and expect a different results. Insanity by definition.
There are 3 key elements that a top agent in today's economy is doing. Those are BEING FOUND, BEING CONNECTED, and BEING INVOLVED.
BEING FOUND- If I (prospective home buyer) don't know you and I live in WA state looking for property in your area... How do I find YOUR website? Where online do I find YOU, not your brokerage, YOU?
- Blogging and SEO is by far the best way. ActiveRain makes it super easy to be found, but once your found how do you capture that consumer? How do you get their information voluntarily? What's in it for them?
BEING CONNECTED- Once the buyer/seller finds you, how are you able to determine if they are serious or just a waste of your time? Remember you have a couple hundred contacts in there and 90% are dragging their feet. How do you identify the other 10%? How do you know when they are more active?
-Having an IDX feed on your website that brings the consumer back to your website is key. So many IDX solutions are utilized, but few bring the consumer back to YOUR website. The reason you blog is for SEO capabilities and to teach or inform your audience, so maximize it by having them come back to your website with a chance to be captured.
BEING INVOLVED- Now that you see when a buyer is more active than others, how do you know what they want, where they came from and how to close them?
