GCAAR recently released the November housing statistics for single family homes which can be found here. See below to view a synopsis.
- 661 homes were put on the market in the month of November
- The majority of the homes were in the $200,000-$299,999 range with a total of 132 homes
- 654 homes have gone to contract in the month of November
- 552 homes settled (officially sold) in November
- Of the homes which have settled the price range which had the highest total settlements was the 200,000-$299,999 range
Included in the monthly statistics are the up-to-date annual statistics. See below for what has occurred through November of 2010.
- The highest number of homes that were actively listed for sale was in the month of September
- The most homes that had ratified contracts occurred in the month of April, with March coming in at a close second.
- The price range with the most active homes is the $200,000-$299,999 range
- The average home price for 2010 is $492,719. This is a drop from 2007 when the average home price was $617,367
- The median home price range in 2010 is $399,000
