“To Buy or Not To Buy? Ummm…”

If this is your first time buying a home, the experience can be absolutely overwhelming. The myriad of decisions – arranging financing, deciding what you want in a home, finding that home, understanding the offer agreement, and so on – can push the last nerve in the little toe on the left foot. Most buyers find the comfort they need to support and balance the process in their real estate agent and/or their mortgage professional. But some buyers still are very challenged and have a hard time trusting all of the parties involved. As I think about these types of buyers and all of the anxiety they deal with, I want to say to them, ‘you are buying a home, and the purchase of a home is not an eternal decision. There are much more important things in life to consider, so take a load off and find a happy medium in this home buying process.’ Sometimes first time home buyers are simply too serious – and too fearful. The decision is not to be taken lightly, but it also should not command every waking moment of your time worrying. So relax and let’s talk tomorrow.
