Kodak Moment Contest: Vote For Your Favorite

I was reading this kodak Moment contest and looked through all the pictures.  Quite a few of them stirred something in me that either broke my heart or made it melt.  A snapshot in time is something that not only captures a moment in time but it also evokes an emotion from the viewer.  When I saw the shot of the girl holding her cat at the vet, it transported me a year back, when I had to make the difficult decision to put my dog down due to illness.  As tears rolled down my cheek, my heart began to ache for Remy and memories of her came flooding back.

Please take more photos of your own life, one day you will be gone but the moment will not be!

Here are the top ten posts from the Kodak and ActiveRain 'Kodak Moments Contest' as selected by the folks at Kodak and the team here at ActiveRain. Please take a few minutes to read over these ten posts and vote for your favorite Kodak Moment.

All the participants made this the hardest contest we have ever had to judge. In fact, every post was either touching, funny, or inspirational in some way. It was super hard to get the posts down to ten. We are really glad that we decided to have the community vote on the last ten to find one winner.......because we have no idea how we would have been able to select a winner. I fear there would have been many more 1st place winners if we had to try to choose one :-)

Here are the ten finalists. Below is the poll so you can vote:

Julie - Sorry to hear that the cat picture had to bring back the sad memories of your dog.  I voted the other day for my favorite. Now I just have to wait to see who won.

Very cool blog!  I love pictures and I am constantly bugging people at home and at the office taking pictures!  Everyone is almost always annoyed with me about it, but later when they see all the pictures!  They always love them and thank me!  I do need to get into more of them myself though...you are right!
