I Didn't Mean To Be Naughty!
(REALLY, I DIDN'T!)
In fact, I'm not even sure what I did, but Facebook has disabled my ability to upload videos. Dang it!
I was going wish someone Happy Birthday this morning and was greeted by a message that informed me that because of activity related to copyright infringement they had cut me off from being able to post any more videos. WHAT?????
<<SAD FACE>>
I sure don't remember anything that was inappropriate. About a year ago I tried to upload a video of my granddaughter's dance solo at her recital. It wouldn't post and I couldn't figure out why, and I did receive an email from Facebook explaining that there was a problem with my content. At first I couldn't imagine what the problem could be, but then it dawned on me the dance music was the issue, so I never again tried to post anything of that nature. Just silly video of me wishing individuals Happy Birthday......I suppose sparing Facebook users from that could be reason enough to take away my video upload ability!
Sorry, Facebook! If you give me video back I promise to be good! Was it the dance video from all those months ago or did I do something else more recently that I can't recall? I was trying to be careful. Promise! I actually was appreciative of the heads up that posting "Proud Grandma" videos could be in violation. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any way to determine why you cut me off now. I know ignorance is no excuse, I just wish I knew what to apologize for, and to who. Mostly I just don't want to do it again......and I admit I'm confused about the rules.
So, my friends, it's too late for me......but hopefully my story will help others stay off Facebook's naughty list!
