Mile High Fine Homes: Why Choose a Master Planned Community Like Highlands Ranch
I think that Jeff hits the nail right on the head here. If you are looking into a planned community in Highlands Ranch, Jeff is absolutely the man that you need to talk to! He understands what constitutes a good investment as well as a wonderful family home.
I get this question quite a bit....should I choose a Master Planned Community like Highlands Ranch...or maybe a smaller subdivision or unincorporated area?
These are all great choices...but I am going to go into what a Master Planned Community gives you...and why it might be the right or wrong choice for you.
Master Planned Communities like Highlands Ranch tend to give you amenities, security, balanced home values, deed restrictions that assure you of a certain look to the neighborhood, open space and more.
Highlands Ranch as an example has pools, recreation centers, parks, walking trails, golf courses, sporting venues, open space, deed restrictions and more.
Now if you hate deed restrictions...do not care about amenities or open space...etc...move on, this is not the place for you.
....but if knowing what your neighbors house will look like, knowing that a trailer will not be parked in the driveway next door to you up on blocks...or a jail will not be built in your backyard....it could be the right choice.
The plan is put out there years in advance...so buyers of the original homes have the security of knowing what the development will look like far in advance. That is one of the reasons the values tend to increase over time. The buyers of these homes also know that neighbors can not let there house deteriorate because the Home Owners Association can require them to fix it.
The choice you make should be based on what fits you. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
