It’s hard to believe that the Twentieth Century is now ancient history!

I still twitch when people speak of Y2K.  I spent years getting ready and 48 hours when others were welcoming in the new year.  If you look close, every once an awhile you will see something that did't get fixed during the conversion.  Those pesky leap years!

Every day is a new day with a better understanding what the days past has taught us.  Now, do we take time to listen to what we should have learned?  As always, love your photography and message!

Richard ...I'm ready to put 2010 behind me, moving ahead is a requirement not a choice so let's make it a great year (my only son is in the high school class of 2011, so I'm expecting big things).

Richard, my Y2K panic was to buy new batteries fro the flashlights. If I was going to have a problem, I wasn't going to be the only one. Now I just hope that 2011 brings us some activities and a relief for people straining with their finances and a job for those that need one.

Richard.....we need to look ahead now and address all of the challenges that will be part of the 2011 package....it's going to be an exciting year!!!

You are right Time does march on and doesn't even look back.  There is one minor problem tho, the older I get the faster it marches.

Richard, My viewpoint in life has changed over the years...more and more dates on the calendar are rather arbitrary demarcation points, my birthday?  I'm just one day older than I was the day before, keep the focus on the current day and what's needed to make the future better.

It is funny how time and changes move quicker now. Did yopu see the beginning of the new Wall St. movie where Michael Douglas is leaving prison? They give him the personal items he came in with including a HUGE cell phone.

Richard, unless of course you ascribe to the Mayan calendar end of the world theme, which I do not. So.. in light of that, I will certainly make the most of 2011, and be happy that I don't have to strike out 19__ in order to write the correct date. I tend to confuse easily.... :D

We can't stop time, but we can embrace it's passing and make the most of it. Here's to a wonderfully successful new year to you Richard.

I am glad to leave 2010 behind!  I know that 2011 is going to bring many good things to us all!   now to embrace it and to hold on as I think it is going to be one heck of a ride!   LOL

The past is past.   We must look to the future.   I am just glad that I can say..."I remember when..."

Richard you are so right. We were just talking about the houses that were Y2k ready and were posted in the MLS..........like that was a big deal and would help the house sell............lol

Richard - history, maybe, but ancient, no way. We are still living the consequences, good and bad, of the 20th century. I just hope that it gets written correctly in the text books.

Time is definitely marching on.  It does seem like Y2K was just yesterday.

Great photograph. I love old architecture and often photograph older building. Time is the ultimate resource.
