31 Days of December Challenge- Winter Visitors in Arizona

I am amazed at the number of winter visitors planning to purchase a home here. I am filling my January and February calendar with appointments for them when they arrive in the valley. Since I am originally from Illinois, I am noticing many are coming from there.
I had 2 calls to show my listing in Apache Junction so I scheduled them one after the other. One couple is now my immediate buyers but not of that home. The other couple is visiting and will be purchasing here after they sell their out of state home.
I updated my website and posted a listing to my blog on Active Rain.
I sorted files in my home office, determined to have filed or shredded every stray piece of paper before January 1.

I took calls in the office today.
I had an appointment to show a condo in Fountain Hills. The condo is beautiful and could make a nice winter home or family vacation home for someone.
My buyers buying in Queen Creek finally got the executed contract from the seller (bank owned) today. It seems to be taking so much longer to get the paperwork. Hopefully it is a seasonal thing (vacations, end of year?) because buyers get nervous about waiting 2 or more weeks. The couple has been traveling and their only home for 3 years has been a 5th wheel trailer. They are very excited to move into their new home.
Winter visitors to the Phoenix valley come in many different shapes and sizes. These winged winter visitors are taking a dip in the pond at The Riparian Preserve in Gilbert AZ. The Superstition Mountains in the background are always a beautiful sight in the southeast Phoenix valley.
