Who needs FaceTime? You can now video Skype from your iPhone!

In case you missed the announcement, Skype and Apple have finally come together to give us something to get excited about!

I, for one, have been waiting with baited breath for this release. Sure, FaceTime is cool in concept, but when you have an Apple-hating sister in Seattle, FaceTime's just not an option, and it's not always convenient to get out the laptop for a quick video chat with her nieces and nephews.

I can also see Skype being used more regularly with my clients now. How about you? Do you, or would you, video chat with your clients if it were easy and readily available?

Ryan - I use Skype regularly in business, but I have to agree with Wendy's comment about the appearance issue. Skype is a fantastic tool, and I will definitely be using it now on iphone also. Thanks for the update.

Hello Ryan - Apple and AT&T will have to do something about the wifi only limitation for Facetime. Until they do I will have to check out Skype. Thanks for the tip.
