Success is Intentional

Success is intentional …Success is also premeditated …and it’s riddled with choices and decisions ... some good, along with some bad ones.

The definition of success varies from person to person …One of my mentors once said “Success is NOT the key to Happiness …HAPPINESS is the key to success”!

What does success mean to you?  Before you can achieve success, you must define what success means to you. Unless you have that clear vision, you cannot work towards it.

Success can be measured across several areas. It can be career, health, spiritual, emotional, time, or financial. As an example, one can be successful in one’s career but not emotionally. (Of course, this list isn’t exclusive - so add areas which are relevant to you).

Great leaders are not born, they are the ones who arise to the occasion when a challenge presents itself. To assure fulfillment …YOU must supply the occasions! One of the most profound differences between successful people and others are the goals they choose to pursue. Each choice or decision you make affects your outcome …we form our decisions, but our decisions form us.

The direction your life takes will change the instant you actively and aggressively pursue a new goal. At the precise moment you start down that new path … you are headed towards a new destination (and a different future than if you had you remained on the old path).

Always establish the best goals you can …Goals are the seeds to your success. Indecision can be the blight of your potential …sure there is risk with every decision you make …however, the price you pay is usually greater with inaction.

So what are the things you want in life? What is most important to you? Set your goals to parallel your answers to those questions!
