Interesting article about housing crisis

I read a lot of independent alternative media to try to decipher what is really going on and here is  a link to a website I regularly read which has links to other articles on housing, mortgage fraud, failure of HAMP program, etc.  Just thought I'd share it in case there are some other independent thinkers out there.  Unfortunately, it is not looking good right now for the housing market as our local market here in Central Oregon still has not bottomed out.  Other sites I regularly frequent are Free Speech TV, Link TV, salon.com and Democracy Now.  These all have independent journalist articles from people who go on site to foreign countries, or whatever, and report what they see rather than what is frequently reported in the mainstream press as "according to reliable sources", "unnamed sources", etc.  It is amazing how many stories are reported in mainstream media as such where nobody  puts their name to the info.  I once had a college project where I had to study a historical event, how the mainstream media reported it, and then compare the reports to what we now know really happened.  It was a real eye-opener and I learned a lot about what to believe and how to read papers and listen to media and get accurate information.
