Cary, NC continues to lead the way in job creation and business recovery. Recently NC Governor, Beverly Perdue, announced that SAS Institute Inc., the world's largest priveately held software company & "best place to work" will bring over 100 new jobs to the Cary area to man its SAS Analytics Lab for state and local government. Most of the new SAS jobs will target technology and government experts who will be charged with crunching data numbers using the power of SAS' new 38,000-square-foot cloud computer center at its Cary headquarter campus. In addition to the job creation SAS plans on investing $3 Million in their new internal human resources and finance headquarters.
Governor Purdue explained that the government's use of SAS Software will help fight Medicade fraund and is the leading software provider to help the government become more efficient in this area. We are certainly fortunate to have a leading global software company and the leadership of Jim Goodnight right here in Cary!
