This Year, Change Your Mind.
Happy New Year everyone! I've got 6 minutes till the Rose Bowl Parade....
This Year, Change Your Mind.
Pretty profound and thought provoking statement, would you say?
In an effort to blog more, and just share more in the New Year, I scan in more depth my daily digest from the New York Times. It's a pretty good paper, and I need to get up with some others as well. But I'm always looking for something that might be a topic of interest to all.
So, today, an editorial by Oliver Sacks, "This Year, Change Your Mind" truly has me thinking. It's a New Year, and how am I going to change MY mind?
The article talks about how we make those resolutions to lose weight, but our brain despite our age, can be re-wired as we grow older. Well, I'm in on that one!
So this year, I am going to Change My Mind. I'm working on my list of techy things and programs that I want to "master" this year and be able to use to their fullest. From Listingbook to RealBird to the new introduction of Fusion, our MLS program, I want to know these things inside and out.
When I think about it, I can quickly get overwhelmed. But a recent webinar taught me that you take one thing, and focus on that one thing till you know it. It suggested 1 per month, which seems like it would take me forever to learn what I want.
I'm hoping to knock out more than that, but This Year, I'm Going to Change My Mind.
