When to Act

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Homepointe Property Management

Evictions are always a worry on the minds of an investment property owner. Finding the most qualified renter for a home is the first step in protecting yourself from a eviction. However, this is not always the case, tenants are people to, and they do lose jobs, they do have cars that break down, and family members to feed. My job as your property manager is to act as your agent and take care of the home in your best interest.

Sometimes it is necessary to act on that 3-day notice and take an eviction to the next level. HomePointe has stayed in business more than 20 years not because we let tenants stay rent free, or get away with paying late without consequence. But because we know when it is time to act on a tenant and keep the business running smoothly. It makes no sense to have an investment with no return.

Andy I agree and one the harderst problems I have is collecting late fees.  Happy New Year!  One of my goals this year is to collect the Late Fee.

I agree fully, you need to stay on top of things constantly and enforce and act on late payments.

I agree with all of you--a timely reaction can make a hard situation go just a little bit smoother.
