Don’t Give up on Your Dreams
This morning before my first cup of coffee, my phone rang. I thought to myself, “Who could be calling me this early on New Year’s Day?” The number was unknown to me and the voice at the other end of the line was unfamiliar as well. A cheerful gentleman greeted me with “Happy New Year,” I replied in kind. He went on to tell me his name was Mike and he was sorry to be calling me so early in the morning. “I have interest he said, in your listed property on west Galveston Bay.” {4.8 acres with 1 acre bay front} 
After finishing this call, I returned a call to a past client to wish her a Happy New Year. She was so excited to tell me that she was looking to move back to the area and wanted me to start thinking of homes that may fit her needs.
As I gave thanks for such a wonderful start to a new year, I opened my daily devotion to read January 1, 2011……..“For I am about to do something new. See I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness; I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.” Isaiah 43:19
Our dreams at times seem to be just that, dreams. Something far away in the future, out of reach. Take a fresh look at your dreams and embrace them, open your heart to the reality of what those dreams look like on you…right now…today…. accept that the future is today.
