Great pop by item for the new year: Home Performance Audit
I am a realtor who uses the Brian Buffini system for real estate sales. The past 5 years I have done many transactions because I have entrusted my business to my clients who wildly refer me business.
Normally during the month of January, I usually pop by their home or office with a calendar and a settlement statement so they can file their taxes for the coming year.
One of the ideas my coach has was to do a Home Performance Audit. Basically, it gives me an opportunity to call my past client to see if they would like for me to review major aspects of home ownership and discover possible opportunities for savings. This one step can save people thousands of dollars.
In the Home Performance Audit, I look at Financing-Loan (are they getting the best deal), Insurance-Risk Coverage (do their coverages makes sense, is there something missing), Condition-Inspections(Any current opportunities to refer business to a vendor-partner), Utilities (can they save and utilize different options to make their home run efficiently) and records management (provide them with a binder of their home ownership records and preferred vendor partner list).
So the process allows me to touch my client several times (1 phone call, 1 email to describe the process, 1 note if I speak with them, 1 site visit at their home).
The whole point is to take care of families and get in the flow with people.
Today is day 1 for working this process and I already have 4 appointments and 2 referrals. Yay!
If you would like a copy of the home audit document I used and where I purchased the home binder, send me an email.
Oh yeah, the vendor partner list is predicated on the fact that you have existing relationships with qualified service providers who can do a good job.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
