Cohasset Sold Single Family Home Sales for December 2010

By
Real Estate Agent with William Raveis Real Estate

What a difference a year makes.  In December of 2009, while buyers were scrambling to meet what was thought to be the 12/31 dead line for the first version of the First Time Home Buyers Tax Credit, we saw 14 homes sell at an average sales price of just over $1.12 Million Dollars. These homes had an average time on the market of 227 days.  And the Median Sales price was in the $800's.  Fast forward a year to December 2010 and a paltry three homes sold.  Not a staggering number by any account.  However the three homes sold were priced at $330,000, $975,000, and a whopping $5.525 Million for a stately and recently renovated home at the mouth of little harbor.  So the pricier homes have sold, but the volume lacks that of the activity in the abutting towns.

If you would like to learn more about the Cohasset Real Estate Market and the homes for sale in Cohasset, I can be a valuable resource to you as a buyer's agent.  If you are thinking of selling, I would be glad to show you how we market homes such a manner to truly leverage the Internet to maximize your exposure on the Internet.
